Exciting News, Birds and Blooms Printable Papers, DT Samples and Show Photos

Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited to say we are moving from my dumpy and tiny warehouse to a store in downtown Bellingham WA until the end of June and I will post all the details and photos next week after we move in!I also have a bunch of wonderful samples by our Design Team Ladies and some photos from the show we attended last week.

Here is our NEW Printable Paper Collection ' Birds and Blooms' designed by our very own DT Member Sheila Rumney!  This beautiful set includes a great mix of 24 pastel hue papers with birds and flowers and will sell for $7.95.

The papers are saved as 300 dpi jpg files and the download is divided into 2 folders.

Here's a preview of all 24 designs.

Sheila also made this sweet card in a series of sewing theme cards she created using our Sew Nice Scraps

Check out this very cool chicken card by DT Leader Kathy Clement created with our new Farm Chicks Digital Stamp Set. It includes the same designs as the past Clear Farm Chicks Set (which has sold out now) but there are 16 NEW designs added and everything is larger, so much more fun to color and play with.

How about this adorable Easter card by DT Member Michele Kovack she created using our Bunny Hop Digital Stamp Set. The pretty blue paper is from our CD #1 Creating With Vintage Patterns and I love the flower and eggs she added.

It looks like this bunny in the 'egg balloon' design attracted DT Member Shantaie Fowler as well as she used the same design and I love her bright colors and sky!

I adore this pretty set of 4 floral birthday cards DT Member Melody Clement created using our CD # 2 Creating With Vintage Illustrations. You can see the other cards and details on Melody's Blog.

Here's a few photos from the Lynden Craft and Antique Show we sold at last week.  The booth was so packed most of the time so I forgot to get good photos before many things sold. I'm down to less that 4 trays of letterpress wood letters now from the 10 trays I had. My mom's blue Victorian planter sold for $75.00 as well as many other items. I loved the ladies who run this show Judy and Trudy. They fed us chili dogs on set up day, had live music and coffee and toast for vendors each morning!

The Lavender House had a fabulous booth and they are having a Vintage Market Show July 24-25 in Lynden, WA

As well, Up Junk Creek had a great booth as well as so many vendors who went all out.

There were a bunch of booths selling plants and funky garden art, perfect for Spring

Lastly,  I will be introducing a new DT Member next week and the next item to be added is our Hardware Digital Stamp Set which has sold out and is going to have some amazing BIG hardware added in knobs, hinges, keys and more!

Have a fantastic weekend!
Sandy Redburn

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!

Hello, Friends!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

It's time to announce the winner of our "Go Green!" March Linky party!  The randomly chosen winner is Lucky #5:  Anne Mills!  Anne used our free digital garden paper and Garden Girls stamp to create this lovely card:

You can read all the details about this lovely card on Anne's blog: It's Me: Handmade Craft.  Congrats, Anne, and thanks so much for playing along in the March Linky Party.  We'll be contacting you with information about your prize package soon!

Now for a few design team samples to inspire your springtime crafting. DT Member Diane Hover used our Spring/Easter Creative Scraps to create this darling card.  The card is mounted on our Radiant Digital papers and don't you just love that bow?

I love the way that Creative Scraps allow you to make a card in almost no time.  They are double-sided, so you can use the pretty image on the front, like Diane did, or flip it over and use the pretty printed side for a muted, vintage look as Sheila Rumney did with this beautiful card:

This is the flip side of our Sew Nice Creative Scraps, and I love the way Sheila has layered it with soft flowers and old sheet music.  It looks like a treasure from Grandma's trunk.

Ginny Nemchak combined our Domestic Goddess Creative Scraps to make this totally adorable kitchen themed card.

She also used elements from our Retro Kitchen Digital Kit and bits and bobs from Calendar Scraps, Homemade Journal  Booklet and Travel Creative Scraps

These beautiful Creative Scraps are on sale right now for just $1.25 each, so it's a great time to stock up.  Once they are sold out, they will be available only in the digital format. There are still lots of themes available, and you just can't find more beautiful vintage images!

Thanks for stopping by!

On behalf of Sandy Redburn, I wish you joy and creativity!

Kathy

NEW Farm Chicks and Dahlia Digital Sets, Shabby Tea Room Sponsor and More!

Hello, I have so much exciting news to share today! We have a new Chicken Farm printable paper set for .99 cents! New Farm Chicks Digital Stamps and Dahlia Digital - both with NEW great extra designs added (see all the details below)!  Also, be sure to take a peek at the Spring Pastel Papers coming soon by designer and DT Member Sheila Rumney at the end of this post.

We are also sponsors for the Shabby Tea Room #248 Beautiful Blooms Challenge this week and there are some beautiful samples the DT has created like this pretty card below by Tracey in Australia who used roses and paper from our Garden Papers Kit   Plus - you can enter and win a $25.00 Gift Certificate and there are two $10.00 gift certificates up for grabs!

DT Member Diane Hover is also on the Shabby Tea Room Design Team and she used our Wedding Printable Download to create this gorgeous card.

DT Leader Kathy Clement created a set of 4 very cool apron cards using our Garden Style Digital Stamp Set and with some of our Garden Papers.
.

I'm thrilled with how our Farm Chicks Digital Stamp Set turned out!  Designer Cindy van Koll returned to help with this set and we added 16 NEW Designs, so there are 40 total! The original Farm Chicks Clear Stamp Set is just 6" x 8" but we still have a few left for $10.95.

These are the new designs and check out the sizes of each of them and I think you will agree there are definite advantages of Digital Stamps and having the images larger and editable for less money and no shipping with immediate download offers so many advantages!

I had so much fun making this Farm Chicks Rule digital stamp for the set. I left it as a jpg as I thought it would be easier to use and it lost to much detail as a png.

Here are some inspiring samples that ladies have created in the past with the Clear Set. I'm pumped to see what new projects people will come up with using the larger digital set!

We also have a NEW Dahlia Digital Stamp Set which includes our old Dahlia set as well as 15 New designs! Designer Cindy van Koll also helped work on this set as well the original one and check out the detail in the designs! Note: we have a few of the Clear Dahlia Sets left for $4.95

On case you missed our free gift this month when you place an order is one of my fave printable rose papers.  Just add it to your shopping cart and it will be $0.

This is such a sweet card that DT Member Sheila Rumney created using an image from our Sew Nice Creative Scraps. You can see details on Sheila's Blog and also check our the pretty papers she has been designing below!

Here's a little peek at the New Spring Pastel Digital Papers by designer and DT Member Sheila Rumney which should be ready sometime this week and I will post details.

Lastly, if you live in the area I hope you will come by the Lynden Craft and Antique Show and see us this week March 19 to 20/15 and ask me for the free gift I promised you here.

I hope you are having a fabulous Monday!

Birthday Cards, Spring Samples, Giveaway Winner and My 6' Spiralizer Zucchini Noodles!

Hi Everyone, I hope Spring has begun to arrive for you, it's come so early to the North West I'm worried we may get a cold spell and damage all the flowers and blossoms that popped up early. I'm sharing the latest sample posted to our March Linky Party that was created by Anne Custer with our free image and paper (if you're playing) you can download it , so come join in! You can use any Crafty Secrets item.

We have a winner for the Spring Giveaway Package, packed full of goodies. The lucky random.org winner was #8  Barbara Bird.

Here's another pretty sample card made with the same free image from our Garden Girl Digital Stamps and Garden Papers  by our DT Member Diane Hover. I love seeing the different ways people can use the same design!

Look at this beautiful  birthday card DT Member Melody Clement  created using paper, flowers and the blue frame from our CD #1 Creating With Vintage Patterns.  The blue, brown and pink frame, all much much larger and I love how she squished it down to fit her card and it looks so pretty popped up with a little glitter on the flower spray.

I also fell for this adorable birdy bithday card that DT Member Darlene Pavlick created using our Birds and Blossoms Printables.

Okay, I have to share my Spiralizer experience with you as I tried out my daughter Holly's the other day and it was love at first sight - bite? Anyways, the part that blew me away was when I went to pull out a zucchini noodle - they were over 6' long! Yep, that's me (I'm about 5' 10") holding a couple of the noodles because I thought no one would believe me.

This little machine is amazing and works so much better than the cheap hand held gizmo I bought, I wish I would have spent the extra money. First time I added mushrooms, garlic, lemon zest, red pasta sauce, parsley and some left over chicken.  Last night I made more noodles and added spinach, green onions, garlic, Alfredo sauce and grated Asiago cheese - yum!

I keep forgetting to take photos but I was insired by this Shrimp Scampi Zucchini Noodle recipe from Just a Taste and her blog makes me drool (with out feeling guilty)!

Don't forget - you have a week left to enter any sample into our March Linky Party, so don't be shy!

PS - Also if you missed my last post here, I added some of our Free Printable that stopped working and info about the Lynden Craft and Antique Show we will be at March 19 21/15.

Free Spring Printables, See Us at Craft and Antique Show, New Samples & Giveaway!

Hi Everyone,   I've got a bunch of different things today like a reminder that it's the last day to enter our Spring Giveaway and also check out our GO Green March Linky Party.

Also, a bunch of links for our past Free Printables stopped working so I'm posting 4 of them here. This beautiful rose card was first posted in 2008. I have other below as well as info on the Lynden Craft and Antique Show, tips, links and some inspiring sample ideas!

Click on the image until it's as large as possible, then left click it and save to a folder

We will have a booth and be selling at the 29th Annual Lynden, WA Craft and Antique Show Mar 19-21, 2015. It's a popular show and I wish could bring everything including my stock of CD's, stamps, stickers, scraps, etc - but I can only bring genuine old items or hand crafted pieces. So I will have a mix of both and Lyssa my shipper is going to be helping me and we would love to meet you if you live in the area!

I still have a bunch of my old Letterpress alphabet letters (about half of this first photo) so I'm bringing them, a bunch of books, postcards, greeting cards, prints, etc. I have too much stuff for a 10 x 10 booth but they are sold out and don't have any extra space.

I also found a bunch of big old cutlery pieces and rhinestone mismatch jewelry and thought of the cool Fairy Spoons Vicki Chrisman created and decided I'm going to make a dozen to sell with little nests!

One thing that didn't sell at the last antique show we sold at was my Mikasa China. Maybe it wasn't old enough.  We received most of it as wedding gifts 32 years ago but it always felt too fancy and fragile to use.  I did some research and found www.replacements.com who are the world's largest
supplier and buyer of old and new china, crystal, silver, and collectibles. Their 500,000-square-foot facility is the size of 8 football fields.  They stock over 12 million pieces in more than 400,000 patterns and will pay you outright for items they want! So if you have any mis-match china, crystal or silver you want to get rid of, or wish to add missing pieces to a collection you should check out their site.

Replacements.com  sent me a form with all the prices of what they would pay for each piece depending on their stock (good for 30 days) and are going to pay me $267.00 and I will keep the small plates, cream and sugar and sell them on my own.  I also have an old Noritake 17" oval platter that doesn't match anything and asked about it and they said they want to buy.  Yippee, I'm delighted!

Here's one of our Saint Patricks Day Free Printables.

 An April Pom

I love this sweet image of these children singing Easter Songs

DT Member Sheila Rumney created a bunch of pretty card using our Sew Decorative CD and she's going to be sharing them on her Blog

Also, DT Member Ginny created this cool Baby card using layers from our Baby Boy Sticker Sheet with  Really Reasonable Ribbons for a challenge with their ribbon.

We are working on several new Digital Stamp sets and adding new bigger and better designs to some sets like Hardware, Farm Chicks and others.  They should be ready soon!

Lastly a reminder about our Sale in our craftyvintagegirl.com store
