Birthday Cards, Spring Samples, Giveaway Winner and My 6' Spiralizer Zucchini Noodles!

Hi Everyone, I hope Spring has begun to arrive for you, it's come so early to the North West I'm worried we may get a cold spell and damage all the flowers and blossoms that popped up early. I'm sharing the latest sample posted to our March Linky Party that was created by Anne Custer with our free image and paper (if you're playing) you can download it , so come join in! You can use any Crafty Secrets item.

We have a winner for the Spring Giveaway Package, packed full of goodies. The lucky random.org winner was #8  Barbara Bird.

Here's another pretty sample card made with the same free image from our Garden Girl Digital Stamps and Garden Papers  by our DT Member Diane Hover. I love seeing the different ways people can use the same design!

Look at this beautiful  birthday card DT Member Melody Clement  created using paper, flowers and the blue frame from our CD #1 Creating With Vintage Patterns.  The blue, brown and pink frame, all much much larger and I love how she squished it down to fit her card and it looks so pretty popped up with a little glitter on the flower spray.

I also fell for this adorable birdy bithday card that DT Member Darlene Pavlick created using our Birds and Blossoms Printables.

Okay, I have to share my Spiralizer experience with you as I tried out my daughter Holly's the other day and it was love at first sight - bite? Anyways, the part that blew me away was when I went to pull out a zucchini noodle - they were over 6' long! Yep, that's me (I'm about 5' 10") holding a couple of the noodles because I thought no one would believe me.

This little machine is amazing and works so much better than the cheap hand held gizmo I bought, I wish I would have spent the extra money. First time I added mushrooms, garlic, lemon zest, red pasta sauce, parsley and some left over chicken.  Last night I made more noodles and added spinach, green onions, garlic, Alfredo sauce and grated Asiago cheese - yum!

I keep forgetting to take photos but I was insired by this Shrimp Scampi Zucchini Noodle recipe from Just a Taste and her blog makes me drool (with out feeling guilty)!

Don't forget - you have a week left to enter any sample into our March Linky Party, so don't be shy!

PS - Also if you missed my last post here, I added some of our Free Printable that stopped working and info about the Lynden Craft and Antique Show we will be at March 19 21/15.

A quick non-craft question for you Sandy...which brand of Spiralizer did you use?
